Recently I have been building a system that required some interaction with Google Maps in terms of creating multiple custom markers to a map. There are many different approaches to solving this problem but I thought I would share my particular twist on this in this post.

Last week Linear Blue turned 10! This is a happy occassion for Linear Blue, we are delighted with our successful solutions created with clients over the last 10 years. The company was founded in April 2000, by Paul de Hallé to specialise in his passion for advanced cross platform database development.

I have been using Google Analytics frequently and have become impressed with the level of detail their features offer. The graph is one of my favourite tools, which helps to detect a trend with the data. The advanced segments feature is impressive, allowing you to select up to four segments, such as, new visitors, paid search traffic or non-paid search traffic, which filters through to the graph.

Over the last few weeks I’ve often blogged and twittered about the upcoming launch of the new Linear Blue website. Well, it’s now live. As of Wednesday morning we have our new website. We launched on April the first, not for the comedy value, but as it is the ninth birthday of Linear Blue.
